Scuderia Mexicana is a Central American-based team, the second to enter official Really Rubbish Racing competition after Tropico Motorsports. The team was founded by driver SMX uTurn73 and entered the Nihon Tour and SECS along with the Clio Cup and FART support series, before disappearing from the scene.
The team was revived over a year later by Mexican driver MDSP, entering the International Masters of Formula R 2.0.

History
Having entered the Nihon Tour last in the season, the only race for sole driver UTurn ended a pointless 18th. Results were better in the 2 Clio Cup support series races with 2 top 10 finishes.
For their second season, the Seat European Cup Series, American driver SMX V8 joined the team to make an assault on the teams' championship. After 3 top 10 finishes, SMXV8 left the club in a fit of rage when he nudged Smifaye off the circuit in the Catalunya sprint race and refused to give the position back. UTurn saw out most of the remainder of the season, picking up points at many races, including a podium in the Mugello sprint race. Both drivers also competed in the 7 FART support series races, SMX V8 for the first race and UTurn for the first 6, scoring points in each.
With his brash American team mate gone, UTurn retired from Really Rubbish Racing at the end of the SECS season.
In late 2014, the team was revived by Mexican newcomer MDSP when he entered the International Masters of Formula R 2.0 season. Initially without a team, he decided to take the dormant Scuderia Mexicana under his wing. Two top 10 finishes in his first 2 races at the Nurburgring were followed by a brilliant second place and then a victory next time out at Road America, as well as taking pole and a fastest lap, Scuderia Mexicana's best results to date. The team ultimately finished 2nd in the Independent Trophy standings having been the highest placed independent entry in every race they entered.
