The Képlet Ázsia Magyarország was the third round of the F1 Asian Series. It was held at the Hungaroring on the outskirts of Budapest, Hungary.

The race, contested over 00 laps, was won by driver, driving for team.

In all the confusion, shock and awe surrounding their first entry into the F1 Asian Series, Ajokay Motorsport fired up the wrong car, and sent driver Ajokay out in a STR6, rather than the 150° Italia they were supposedly told to. It was decided that the result would still count, and all events entered into in the future by the team would be done so in the Maranello-built machine.

Background

The Képlet Ázsia Magyarország was contested at the Hunaroring on the outskirts of Budapest in Hungary. The temperatures are normally extremely high and wet weather is rarely seen at the event. The track is twisty and bumpy and does not normally lend itself to great overtaking opportunites but with the new format for the F1 Asian series, particularly the reversed grids aspect, overtaking shall be something that is savoured.
