The Formula Asia Australia (Crikey, Formula Asia Down Under, Strewth Mate) was the seventh round of the F1 Asian Series. It was held at the Albert Park Street Circuit in Melbourne, Australia.
The event was contested over two rounds with Sodamn Insane 6 taking his first RRR F1 victory and only the third driver this season to take the top step of the podium. Smifaye brought his car home first in the sprint race for his 9th win of the season and 20th of his career.

Background
The Formula Asia Australia (Crickey, Formula Asia Down Under, Strewth Mate) was contested at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne, Australia. The track was used for 2011 RRR Australian Grand Prix as the first race of the season. Smifaye won the race for his Black Raptors Racing team and eventually became the drivers champion.
Post-race
Concordskii Motorфлот driver Y2jisaok received a reprimand for blocking drivers on the lead lap. If a similar incident happens before the end of the season, said driver will be issued with a 20 second penalty. Any further offenses could lead to disqualification from the event. The reprimand will be cleared by the end of the season if no more incidents are recorded.

Sodamn Insane 6 won the race to become the only driver in RRR history to win on all four different games and became the 4th driver to win a race on F1 2011.
