Virtue Racing is a sim racing team that currently competes in the Hyper Global Tourenwagen Masters. On the 19th April the team became officially known as Cerberus Virtue Racing after the Illusive Man bought a 50% share in the team.

History

Virtue Racing was initially a team that competed in the Twitter F1 Champ, a F1 2010 racing series on the PS3. It was founded by Tommo N7 and in it's first season, came 2nd overall. [1] In it's 2nd and final season in the championship, Virtue won the Constructor's title, by 5 points. [2]

Cerberus Funding

The mysterious Illusive man.

On the 24th of January 2012, Cerberus bought a 50% share in the team, with Virtue to become known as 'Cerberus Virtue Racing' after the HGTM series has finished. Cerberus decals currently feature on the livery, after they bought out other companies spots on the car. The colour scheme used by the team will also change, and a preview of what future liveries will be like were shown when they unveiled the car to use in the HGTM Nordschleife 90. Cerberus also funded TheScottWilkes to compete in the HGTM by providing his team with a Mercedes AMG C-Class.

RRR

Virtue Racing competed in the HGTM series. Their first race was in the Dan Wheldon Invitational with Tommo N7 driving for them. Virtue had a decent race, and Tommo was able to secure a podium in their debut race.

4za Motorsport Championship

Virtue's 1st event of the season was the 4za Motorsport Grand Prix of Europe South. In round 1 at Catalunya, the Virtue team had a lonely race to finish 11th, after qualifying 13th. In the 2nd race at Camino Viejo de Montserrat. A incident at the first turn put Virtue's Tommo N7 at the back of the field, but over the race he worked his ay up to finish 11th. In the final race of the evening at the Streets of Positano, Tommo finsihed 11th. Virtue missed out on points in their first event by 1 place in every race. In the 2nd event, the 4za Motorsport Grand Prix of Europe North, Virtue performed poorly in the first 2 races, finishing 14th. But in the final race of the event, the team's first point was scored with a 10th place at Nurburgring. Virtue missed event 3, but returned for the last event of the season, finishing the season as they started it, with 3 11th places. Overall, Virtue and their driver Tommo finished 16th with only 1 point.

HGTM

Virtue Racing will competed in Season 4 and signed up Mr Flobadob to compete alongside Tommo N7. They used the Mercedes AMG C-Class, and performed better than in the previous season. There was a mixed start to the season, but the team performed well and scored some decent points at the first race. Mr Flobadob would get 2 podiums for the team in the next 3 races, and Tommo N7 was able to race much better than he had in the previous season. Virtue came close to recording their first win with Flobadob coming 2nd behind Shouty at the Silverstone feature race by only a second, equaling the teams best ever result. Flob carried on his great form by earning another 2nd place at Sebring Sprint. Tommo then equaled his season best of 5th despite a DimensioN Flip which was believed to happen after a Cerberus network malfunction. In the Sebring Feature Lee led the drivers home 5th and 6th. Flobadob only made one event in the second half of the season, finishing 4th and 2nd at Infineon. With Lee missing, and Tommo performing poorly, Virtue Racing lost 4th place in the standings to the Black Raptors by a single point, after Andy lost 12th place to Smifaye on the final corner of the Hockenheim sprint. Cerberus were understood to be majorly displeased with the drivers after this.

F1 Asian Series

To the surprise of the paddock, Cerberus funded Tommo N7 to drive in the F1 Asian series, using a MP4-26, debuting in Australia, where they just missed on on points. They then headed to Malaysia, where Andy was able to score 1 point in each of the races. A improved performance was seen in China, and two 7th places were earned, and Tommo was able to battle with the midfield.

MEMES

Cerberus were expected to compete in season 5, but their logos were banned from the car, presumably for their extreme humanist views, which offended RumblyLizard, since he's a lizard apparently. A rebranded Virtue Racing team saw them apply Watchmen sponsorship to their Dino, but the team decided to withdraw from the season sue to lack of time and interest.

2012 F1 Summer Series

The team make their return to the grid in the Summer Series, with Tommo & Flob driving, re-uniting the team that secured 5th in the HGTM series, after Flob was dumped from Pudding GP. With Lee securing his maiden win last season, the Cerberus hierarchy hope to see him get Virtue's first win.
