Really Rubbish Racing Touring Car Championship >>

The F1Fanatic Forza Motorsport 3 Championship is the inaugural season of the Really Rubbish Racing's acivities. The series was originally concieved in early June 2011 by Ajokay as a one-off Forza Motorsport 3 championship between members of the F1Fanatic.co.uk forum. 8 members signed up within 2 days, and the championship was born. As discussions about what format the races would take and where they would take place, additional members asked if they could join the series as reserves should any of the original 8 members not be able to race for any reason. It was clear to see interest was rife, and even before the series got underway, future championships were conceived.

As with all good racing series, a governing body needed to be up to oversee any future series, and so Really Rubbish Racing, or RRR, was born. Thus, the championship became known as the Really Rubbish Racing F1Fanatic.co.uk Forza Motorsport 3 Championship. As a result, F1Fanatic.co.uk was downgraded from regulating body to (a somewhat unofficial) series sponsor.

The series will be run over 6 weeks beginning on Wednesday 15th June, and ending on Thursday 21st July, with 2 events and 4 rounds being held each week.

Featured Cars

The championship features races for six different Forza 3 car classes: F, E, D, C, B and A. There are four races for each class, between a specified stock car and an open-choice upgraded car up to the maximum performance index of that class.

Calendar & Results

The calendar was announced in early June 2011, and encompassed 24 races over 12 events, and will visited 11 circuits across 5 countries and 3 continents. The final event was originally scheduled to be held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, but was moved prior to the start of the season due to the circuit being "boring". The replacement venue was announced as the grand prix circuit at Silverstone, due to being a more exciting track, and all of the original 8 being based in the UK.
