For the longest time, we had an informant in the Assetto Corsa beta.

Their little team simply can't finish what they've started. The focus right now is securing funds for AC2, which means pushing out a half-finished console release with lots of DLC. Kunos are not bad people, just making bad calls. Im not a fan of how they're labelling some people as "whiners".

By the time AC comes to Xbox it will need damn good controller and Multiplayer support to pull me away from Forza Motorsport 6.

It has great controller support and I use the X1 controller. Never had a problem. Multiplayer needs work, yes.

Considering as it's a brand new console release, £37 for Assetto Corsa isn't bad. Still expected it to be a tad lower, £33 maybe, but it does include all the released DLC from the PC side.

But pretty much every new console release is in the £35-£40 range! When you compare the content to that of established titles it'll only come up short in the eyes of all but the most dedicated of sim gamers. Knowing what's in the game I don't think I'd be wanting to pay much more than £20 for it at the absolute most; on PC I can only really justify the price because of the modding potential.

Don't worry, it'll be £20 soon enough. That's not to knock the game, it just isn't worth more than that simply because of the content.

I'll get it for free and I still feel I'll drop it after a month. I don't enjoy Single Player all that much and Forza's got a wide variety of well-populated Multiplayer rooms every night.

I dunno, some of the false hype being generated by those recent 'articles' will sell more than a few extra copies. Their PR team should be applauded for getting that tripe printed on major websites

Most new releases are £45+ nowadays.

If I knew what was in the majority of games, I'd only be willing to pay £30 tops.

Only if you physically go into somewhere like Game ;) I don't think I've paid more than £35 for a new release this gen.

Well, could be interesting, let's see.. ooh, 'VR Support' is listed, so it just became a rhetorical poll.

It shows how little I've played this game that I didn't realise that pit stops, timed races, engine stalling, steering ratio, brake pressure and brake temp weren't already things. I mean, those things I could do in Race 07...and yet VR support is winning the poll?

Maybe the console market is right for them after all.

Funny also how we only get to pick one of those, too... "All of them" isn't an option. Sorry Kunos, but some of us don't have standards as low as yours. :P

I let the game update yesterday, then I went to have a go. It still wouldn't progress past the loading screen, much like it wouldn't after the last update. I don't have the time or patience to figure out whats wrong so now it's uninstalled.

The new R3E updates are good, though!

Why are all these racing game devs getting pissy about their demographic wanting things that should be in a racing simulator from alpha version 0.01... not still missing after full release version 1.5?

Shit like working pit stops, timed races, headlights. These things are only slightly less important that "do we have a track? Yup, check... do we have a car? mmm hmm... check"
