Also I do not have Umack's gamertag. What is it?

:D I did a 1:36.1xx but it was dirty :(

WHAAAAAAT!!!

It was hard enough tuning the car to do a 1.36.4! On an absolutely perfect lap there might be another fraction of time but not much.

Also someone asked if I was using a steering wheel/controller. Like flavoury i'm using a controller

This is true, you can lap thirty-sixes as much as you want, but take one corner slightly early, and you're barrel rolling down the concrete, and you won't win like that.

Don't want to make you feel like a dumbass, but you can. Dumbass.

;)

Load up the track and go to the options. I don't think you can do it through pausing it once you're running...

In all seriousness though, 1:36's are just too fast. As RRR president, if you will, I demand you all slow down by at least two seconds, or face expulsion from the club.

I can lap (reasonably) consistently in the high 1:20's/low 1:21's). My best was a 1:20.4xx, but it was dirty because of something I did on the previous lap (probably running wide on the right hander before the final chicane, I'm always doing that).

Looks to be a couple of second's off of Rumbly's and Alex's pace, but I can live with that. I'm not so great at fast laps anyway!

Couldn't better a 1:19.0 after 20-or-so laps of CatNat. I managed a 1:18.2 to equal Rumbly's best time, but that involved cutting the last 4 corners. I got a couple of high 1:18's by being less corner cutty, but still dirty nonetheless.

Clio is a little small to be in the touring cars, but I'll add your Integra time to the list

Do I take it you will be competing this coming Thursday, Mr Welsh?

Please confirm here, if so!

We really need to try and get Java and TommyB back on board, I'm sure they'd both love racing with these cars.

Java has said he's interested and will try. No idea about Tommy. But if they both turn up, thats pretty much a full independent lobby!

Not sure if Tommy is back on gold XBL membership yet, but fingers crossed he's available.

I think Java got a bit disheartened after some 8th places, but I hope he comes back. I miss seeing that livery on the track! Plus racing with a different set of opponents, he might find himself further up the order.

Just did a little more practice - adjusted some brake settings, flicked the ABS off and took the plunge on manual gears. I was almost instantly faster and was in the process of a pretty good lap when I ran wide on the exit of Turn 9 at the top of the hill (just before the final chicane). It dirtied my lap and slowed me down a little -I reckon it cost me two tenths but it's the dirtyness that annoys me. Ended up being a 1:19.6xx. I cut my session short with the rage but I have improved by best to a 1:20.292.

Yep. Manual gears bump the speed up big time in acceleration and braking. ABS off gained me maybe half a second at Sunset.

Rumbly's kindly been helping me out with some setups for the Astra and in my n00by hands I can now lap consistently in the low 1:19's.
