Had a decent enough first race, but d/f'd about 2/3rds of the way through. Was 4th by a good bit, hopefully kept it.

Started 2nd from last for some reason, so let motorhead through, and managed to work my way through the pack (those Chargers are hard to get by!) for a 2nd! Well happy :D

Had a 1-2 battle with Motorhead for a few laps, then slid back a bit to end up 4th.

Fun times.

Much improved. My expectation that the Starion would be quicker this week was well founded it seems.

Race 1
Started last, then got collected by a first corner collision. Got past various people as they had issues to run 5th, but couldn't keep Ben behind despite my best efforts. Might have caught Ben and/or Scott with a couple more laps, but alas, 6th.

Race 2
Wound up in the queue behind Scott once the field settled down, and gradually picked them off to be just behind Scott in 3rd, which became 2nd after Dave disconnected. Couldn't get past Scott despite being faster, then I got on the grass and it went tits up from there. Collided with Ben a couple of times which let him and Matt through, then Tom got through in the last couple of laps as stuff happened. 6th.

Race 3
Epic! The Starion was amazing on this track with no slow corners or kerbs. Gradually worked my way through the field to wind up in 2nd after about 6 or 7 laps, then set about chasing Matt for the lobby win. I'm pretty sure I was faster overall, but I was gaining mostly in the last couple of corners and had no answer to the Mattmobile's straight line speed. Knew I was a screw up from Matt away from the win, so I kept the pressure on while keeping a half eye on Koopa behind, but he held firm and I had to settle for 2nd.

Race 1: Was all over the place, turns out the analogue stick on my controller was broken :? anyway, dead last

Race 2: Took me a while to get into a rhythm, but the Quattro loved this track :D had a great fight with Wolf that I eventually won, though I did tap him quite hard in the process (sorry about that). Also tapped Scott while he was lapping me (sorry again), but kept him in my sights till the finish.

Race 3: What a boring track... nothing happened for most of the race, apart from Wolf crashing in front of me, but he soon got past again. Started catching up to Ben really quickly in the last 2 laps, but didn't have enough time to pass him in the end.

So a mixed night, but it was worth it to do well-ish at Camino. That'll be my last full night of racing for a good while, will be just the odd race from now on :(

Another great night's racing. The first couple of races went more or less as I expected them to; didn't really know how the third would go so quite pleased with the end result.

Race 1: I had a feeling that Silverstone would suit the Mattmobile and that proved to be the case. Scott and Dave built up a bit of a lead to begin with but then they collided which allowed me to make up some ground and challenge them. The BMW's superior speed on the straights helped me get in front, but even after I overtook Dave for the lead it wasn't an easy race. As well as being fast the BMW is also lacking in rear grip in the corners, so I couldn't really pull out a lead over Dave. Held on for the lobby win but I was under pressure a all the way.

Race 2: I didn't expect to do well here so I wasn't surprised to find myself going backwards. Fell as far as 7th, the Mattmobile's tricky handling and the circuit' slack of long straights hampering my progress. Had quite a long battle with Tom, which was enjoyable at least. Pulled a great move on him at one point when I boxed him against a lapped Wolf. Dave's d/c helped me out, and I got lucky on the last few laps as incidents further up the field allowed me to catch up, and I was able to get up to 4th in lobby.

Race 3: I wasn't really sure what to expect from this track, but it turned out that it suited the car quite well. Got out in front quite quickly, but then spent a lot of the race with Campbell right behind me. Every time I began to relax and thought the gap had opened up, I'd look behind me and see that he'd was closer than I thought. As he rightly points out, he was one fuck up from me away from winning that race. The BMW's superior speed and not making any mistakes won me that race.

Well another day of racing in the books

Race 1: Silverstone

Started the race randomly in 7th position. Got off the line ok but a tap from Koopa in the first corner sent me sliding across the track into Lin which sent me the rest of the way around. Got turned back around and on track. (Thankyou Koopa for waiting) Took off after Lin with Koopa sitting on my tail. Came into the Vale to hot and slid off into the sand. Once again time to play catchup. Got up into 7th when Em and Ratonedge got together. Chased Cova and Lin for a good number of laps but subtle mistakes and braking way to early kept me behind. Ratonedge made a run on me in the last lap to drop me to an 8th place finish.

Race 2: Camino Viejo

Started off in the back of the pack. What can I say have a pretty heavy push for some reason on the short tracks. By the time I got into a nice rythm I had to slow and take outside lines for the faster cars to get past. Final result 8th.

Race 3: Benchmark

Thanks to reverse ordering got off to a nice start in 2nd position. Got hit hard by Ratonedge in the first corner of lap 1 and got spun around AGAIN. Another race having to play catch the field. Managed to catch EM on the 3rd lap but came into the 1st hanger to wide and clipped the edge just enough to spin me out. Regained my composure and got around EM on Lap 8 and changed my target to Wilkes. Tried braking late to dive under him in the first turn but couldn't hold it and hit the tires. Back to chasing and got back past Em on 12th lap. Spent the last 8 laps trying to chase down Cova and Wilkes. With posting the second fastest lap in lobby 2 got close enough to Cova and Wilkes that contact between the two of them in the 2nd to last turn let me slip past and take 5th in Lobby 2.

I have to say that if I can avoid getting wiped out in the first couple of laps and don't have to spend the entire race chasing down the pack I might have a chance at some pretty good finishes from mid season on.

A quick shout out to Matt to thank you for sending the replays from todays event in Lobby 2. Not sure why but this is the second week where myself and others weren't able to see any liveries.

I love my car and I love this series. I'm not only surprisingly competitive I also have brilliants battles with everyone during the race.

Gutted this could well be my last race this season.

Race 1: Got into Copse in the lead. Battled with Motorhead until we had a coming together and he came off worse. Lapped fairly comfortably to the end.

Race 2: Got off the line well and built a 10 second lead. Kept it to the end.

Race 3: Had a brilliant first lap and got into 5th. James and Alex went wide at turn 1 giving me 3rd. I then watched for a couple of laps while Niall and Motorhead had a battle. Niall took the lead but went wide at the final corner and I passed him into turn 1. Battled with Motorhead for 2 or 3 laps before he pulled a bit of a gap, then he crashed with 2 laps to go.

Nope, I'd say you'd have to be beaten on track in a race in which you both finish. I didn't award it to myself after a DNF anyway, I don't know of there are any actual rules to it
