Would you like the setup I used when I was testing? Got a 4:05:2xxx (dirty) on my second lap.

I've just sent it. Looking at the tune, you may just need to change the brake balance and differential if necessary, just to suit your driving style.

Now BA3 is done:
PRO standings
AM standings

And can people please check I've done them right? I cocked up the results on the BA3 page, so I've probably cocked these up too.

Damn, looks like I missed on a top 3 AM placing, though over the season it would've been wholly undeserved.

Well done to Koopa and Kimster on their titles!

Woo! Loved this season so much! I'm a fan of the longer races, and with damage, the racing is much purer as people are weary of causing damage, so great season!

Shame I can't take part in the next season of GEARS. Yet.

I enjoyed this season; it was something ambitious that was talked about for a long time and overall I think it worked.

It's just a shame that it came about just as people were starting to move away from Forza, but it was still worth doing.

That being said I've had enough of GT/LMP cars now as far as Forza's concerned; despite multiple racing leagues trying to balance these cars for years, they're just too diverse to neatly apply a single rule set to. I hope that if there are any race-spec events in future that they go more towards the lesser used racecars that the game has.

I enjoyed the half season I had here.

The issue with balancing is it's impossible to balance half a dozen cars for half a dozen tracks. There'll always be one that's more equal than the others. Balancing for one track is slightly easier but might require thinking outside of the box or chopping and changing builds w/ handicaps. All of which gets confusing really fast.

I don't see myself being on Forza for much longer personally, I told PJ already I'm considering committing to PC fully by the end of the year.

I enjoyed my half season. It was good having the Impreza and the 350Z in there and they made or some fun racing. My battle with Tom at the Nurburgring was just legendary. It's a shame things like tyre wear can't be properly simulated, but doing longer races with damage on was great and the racing was better to boot. Can't wait for second gear.

Wish I could have done more of these.

I didn't really care about the cars being 100% balanced. If one car has a clear advantage over different kinds of tracks (great on some and "only" good on others) then I think it's only fair some re-balancing happens, but that's it.

It was a good series, although for me a lot of the races were rather lonely affairs. The best race I had was at Tsukuba, where me and Campbell spent pretty much the entire race running within a couple of seconds of each other. That was intense.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the introduction of proper tyre wear and repairable damage affects things when we move to Race 07. Forza's limitations probably had a negative impact on the racing here; the fact that most of the cars could go a whole race without needing to pit and not even having the handling affected by tyre wear basically removed the strategic element that can keep an endurance race interesting.

I just hope that I can make some of the races now!

I enjoyed this, and I enjoyed my car too. It was quite fun driving a car which was fast in different places from the others, and I was able to take advantage of it being an absolute piss-take at Maple Valley to take a class win. Actually, I might have done it again at the Nurburgring if I hadn't hit Dave and then disconnected, because I was faster than him and running ahead of eventual winner Bye Jr.

My favourite race, though, was Tsukuba where I spent nearly 2 hours within a couple of seconds of Matt. The different cars made is absolutely intense with neither of us being able to pull away until the last 15 minutes or so.

Looking forward to doing an actual simulation of tyres and such next season, too.

Sorry for posting this question here but I recall some mention yesterday with regards to a free preview of some sort on the pc for one of your racing channels. Could someone update me about this, what sucks most is our cable provider dropped our speed channel so now pc is the only way for me to watch any races. Help from any members that can get me back to watching racing would be appreciated.

P.S. I do have the ability to make the internet think I am in the UK
