'Maintenance' on Monday. This one certainly implies an update is coming.

GT-R LM confirmed so that is definitely being included.

Yas Marina is also being tipped as being included in this update. I'm no fan of the Grand Prix layout but some of the club layouts are good fun, so hopefully these will all be included if YM does appear.

I've heard rumours ranging from Yas Marina to Circuit of the Americas. Personally I'm only expecting the GTR.

I've heard the GT-R LM Nismo will be available in a livery much like this one:

I had 12th in the UK this morning but as I only got Bronze with that time in expecting to fall WAY DOWN when I next log on :)

The GTR's an interesting car to drive, although a number of its tuning settings are locked, even when you get the car for yourself.

To be fair, I'm sure some of those options are still locked to the Nissan engineers working on the car in real life! They've not yet sorted the real-life setup yet.

Makes me wonder how you can model the physics and performance of a car that's not yet raced, even if they have had plenty of closed testing, it can't be all that representative.

I'm 6th now... I think my online rankings aren't updating so long as I don't return to the menu, so I'm gonna try and get 1st before then

The GTR is interesting... It feels a bit clumsy with front wheel drive, especially through Mulsanne and Arnage. And on Hunadieres my wheel is really shaking over the bumps, a lot. But it's still awesome that they've given us a chance to drive it before it races for real, nice one Nissan.

Furthermore, a point of note... The challenge gold time is 3:37. Nissan only did a 3:50 at the test day but the front runners were on 3:21s, in wet-dry conditions... So is that how far Nissan are expecting to be off the pace - a good 10/15 seconds?

I wonder how long it'll take to see mods appearing of that car.

I can only reiterate what ejay has said here. I noticed that he was bloody quick too when I did my time. Getting gold isn't too much of an issue. I managed a 3:35 on a lap which was far from perfect. It was very clumsy through the slow corners but absolutely awesome through the Porsche Curves.

Had a go and it's alright to drive, like a big touring car really. Doesn't seem like the best modelled car, but then again GT6 is more of a marketing outlet for the motor industry than a game to be enjoyed these days.

The hardest part is actually managing to do a "valid" lap. Super harsh penalty system.
