Massive congrats Shouty! I better get a move on, otherwise you'll be taking my fastest laps record :( sadface.

Sorry I couldn't make it, looks like next week will be very interesting though, lots of battles across the rest of the field to sort out still!

I think for the next race you should be in your season 3 Ford Ka.

Qualifying

Did my best ever lap on my first flying lap, didn't get close after that. Hoped it would stick me on pole as I held it for a while til Shouty popped up and beat me by a couple of tenths.

Sprint

Had an average start but held second. The first right-hander had proved pretty difficult for me to get right when practicing, so I was pretty worried about going off there in the race. It did happen very early on and Rumbly was able to get by. After that I did my best to try to get back past Rumbly but once I could see that wasn't going to happen, I backed off slightly. Unfortunately at this point Alex started nibbling into the gap between us til with about 4 or 5 laps to go I made a mistake at the first right-hander again and he was able to nip past. After that I couldn't do anything about Alex so drove home to 4th.

Feature

Didn't make a great start and nearly followed someone off the road at the first corner. Slowly worked my way through, pretty much following Rumbly and Alex past people. Think Rumbly had an incident with someone that enabled me to get past. Then I was stuck behind Butler for a while, not wanting to risk a lunge. Followed him into the pits and somehow leap-frogged Alex on the way in. Wasn't stuck behind Butler for too long after the pit stop and quickly put in some decent laps, though with my TV it's difficult to actually see what they were...

Anyway I didn't really battle anyone after that, just undercutted almost everyone in front of me, except of course Shouty, who I finished second to. Congrats to him for the Championship, he's been pretty unbeatable this season!
