Season Reviews

For me, it was a disappointing season. I finished 5th overall, but I didn't manage to grab a win, making this my first season without one, and I only grabbed 3 podiums, usually failing even to make the top 5. With Smifaye only managing 3 races and Flavoury not having a good time of it, I really was hoping for 4th or 3rd overall, but for whatever reason it just didn't pan out that way.

Favourite Races

The Nurburgring round will go down as probably my all time favourite race. I astounded myself with my drive through from the back to finish almost first.

I also enjoyed the Camino Viejo round, another drive through the field on a really exciting track. Top Gear round was good too, but I just really like that circuit.

Things that worked well in this championship

I think it all worked pretty well, but then I would say that, wouldn't I?

Constructive Criticism

It's a shame it was all over so quickly, but then that was always the point of the season anyway. The cars were equal, everyone got a chance to race, pretty much. There wasn't much I found wrong with it.

Yeh with the clutch my braking was a bit off as I had to brake with my middle finger and not my index as usual. 6.1 and two threes.

Ah yes, just thought, what didn't work: slanted number boxes - a huge pain in the arse to work with.

Good ol'fashioned rectangles are good for season four ;)

Agreed, difficult to line up properly on both sides.

Its not so much slanted boxes which are a pain, its more that they would slant in different directions on the different sides of that car :P

Number boxes have already been made and they are slightly slanted, but I'll gift them to you later so you can take a look!

I will actually make a proper reply for this thread in due because I did think the season was superb.

But, just quickly I have an interesting tidbit for you on a Wednesday morning.

Aygos finished 11th in all but one race in Season 3. Only at Road Atlanta (Where Dan Disconnected from near the front) did they fail to do this. Ripster got 11th in his Spark. If Dan had not DC'd then Aygos would have held 11th all season.

Team Toyota...we did SO good.
