Well, that was awesome. It was the good kind of reboot; it still had the character of the old show but had enough new changes to freshen the show up. I loved it, and how about that new robot?!

Eh, I thought it was all a bit pants, actually. The arena doesn't work properly, the house robots are worse than they used to be, Jonathan Pearce is still fucking awful, and it's still the same old robots and teams we all watched 15 years ago. I was hoping for something much more professional and impressive in terms of the entrants that showed how much technology has moved on since the last series. Maybe we'll get that in later episodes but for now, it smacks of a nostalgic cash cow produced with the minimum of funds and effort.

Watched it tonight, not too impressed. Lacked all the fun of before, though there were a couple of good battles.

I didn't think it was too bad. Carbine or whatever it was called was really good. Dara O'brien was a good host.
I expect it to get better. It was good to see the competitors help eachother out too.

I didn't watch the first episode but saw the second. I like the new format. I normally like Dara O' Brien but he isn't the right presenter for this show, Angela Scanlon looks way more into it. I'm never going to like it as much as my 14-year-old self did but I'm liking it as much as I thought I would.

It lacked the wars part of the name. It should be called robot repair more than robot wars
