So the most random thing i've bought in the steam sale has been Octodad: Dadliest Catch. You're an Octopus dressed as a human but no one's realised you're an Octopus. So you have to act like you're a human. Its absolutely hilarious and a great coop (up to 4 players) game.
Anyone want some Steam games? Going through my Humble Bundle area and seeing that I have a few extras I could pass on: Thomas Was Alone Surgeon Simulator 2013 Organ Trail: Directors Cut May have some more if I look harder, but they are the ones that stood out most. Will post any others if I find them. These three stood out most though as they are all games I have enjoyed playing
Did want to grab Toybox Turbos myself but had to limit myself so ended up getting just one main game which was Fable Anniversary. Think I may have hoovered up a few more smaller £1 or so games too, but cant recall as also went through my unclaimed humble bundle games and claimed any i didnt already have. Found some that I am quite enjoying too (mainly more basic ones for playing on my tablet, so been a lot of 10000000, Ticket To Ride, Contraption Maker, Small World 2, Game Dev Tycoon as well as trying some games out that did not work as well as hoped with touch (Democracy 3, FTL) and trying a few games which are really not touch games at all and plugging in a controller (ETS2-which annoyingly my tablet couldnt fathom once in the truck!)
I picked up Flight Simulator X, which doesn't enjoy my dual screens, a few older games like GTA IV and Burnout Paradise which will probably sit in my backlog for all eternity, and a couple of newer games I intend to review in the Q1 new game drought.
Steam Machines (Therefore presumably Steam OS) Steam Controller Steam Link ($50 Set top box to plug into your living room TV and stream your games to over your home network)
Also Coming Soon
Source 2 - Valve's new game engine. Every time there's been a new Valve game engine, there's been a new Half Life to show it off on... Lighthouse - tracking system for use with the new HTC Vive VR headset
The thing that baffles me is why anyone would buy a Steam Machine when Steam Link exists, providing the same functionality.
Sure, a Steam machine is more powerful, but unless and until a lot more than 10-15% of Steam games support Linux/SteamOS, you're going to be using the streaming anyway.
And that controller. It's better than it was, but I don't see it displacing the 360 controller as the defacto controller for PC gaming.

Also, if you buy a game at full price, if you are within the above requirements, you can get a refund, and buy the game again at sale price, if it's in a sale. And they don't consider it abuse.
