EDIT: Low 1:42.XXXs in an the Marcas thus far, 41s should be very possible.

Wow, looks like I need a lot of practice to do.. :-(

That's one of the best liveries I've seen in a while. Nice work 8-)

:( I was looking forward to maybe have a good race with you in the Vees.

Also, I'll probably be doing some points tallying as we go along tonight if that's ok.

Well crap.

First things first - nice Vee race, kept it somewhat safe once it was apparent how fast @azzunix996 was. Got by @tonyandmargaret a few laps in, kept P2 till the end.

The Marcas race was pretty much a constant, brilliant battle with @ajokay, many side-by-side moments, much drafting, excellent stuff! Didn't quite make it past, and with Arunas far, far up in front, it was P3 this time.

Qualified in Pole for the V8 race, and by a promising margin, as well. Then my game crashed when switching to the race session :(

Well, on to early wiki editing, then! Also, sorry about the V8 parc fermé thing, didn't try/know that :(

Race 1
Amazingly didn't make any major mistakes despite dreading this race more than the other, which got me as high as 3rd. However, @lemming77 caught back up towards the end and I was so keen to not turn in on her that I ran wide, consigning me to 4th.

Race 2
Epic! I briefly ran in the group battling for 2nd, but between a general lack of pace and a couple of minor errors, I found myself dropping back with @nOc75 right on my tail. Spent the rest of the race battling Niall, eventually coming out in front to take 6th.

Race 3
Benefitted from @shaxberd disconnecting and @ArcticCareBear spinning to be 3rd and faster than @tonyandmargaret in front. However, I made a silly error and spun at turn 3, then trying to spin turn dropped me to the back by some margin. Between overdriving and losing concentration, I swapped places with @Bookoi a couple of times, but eventually settled down for another 6th.

I'm gutted I couldn't hold on when it mattered and threw away some potentially amazing results, but race 2 was some of the most fun racing I've had in ages. The Marcas are great fun!

--

On the event itself, I felt that three races in three different cars was a bit much. I wasn't really prepared for any of the races and the event went on for nearly 3 hours, which caused everything to space out in the final race as I couldn't concentrate intently for that long (it was different from GEARS, where you're always playing the long game and can conserve energy). Perhaps a Formula Vee Festival would've been better (fitting in with the Formula R events that launched Race 07 and Assetto Corsa.

That said, I was really impressed by SCE and had a lot of fun. Thanks everyone.

It was quite reassuring to know there was a reason I was THAT far off the pace, thankfully I now have a while to try and fix it, but some good racing nonetheless :)

Clearly lies! :D Very many congrats on all 3 wins and the event overall Arunas!

Absolutely gutted to miss the Vee's due to a last minute schedule conflict, as I had a lot of fun testing those and in practice races.

Race 2 - happy to have qualified 3rd and spent the whole race with @shaxberd either just behind, in front of or alongside me. Many corners side-by-side, a couple of touring car scrapes, one big knock at turn 1 and eventually came out ahead to take 2nd position behind Alienus.

Race 3 - my sisters came round during qualifying so having set one lap to get me somewhere near the back of the grid, I went and hosted before returning for the race. Wasn't hoping for much from 7th on the grid, but I gained some places early on and was running 4th before 2 spins in 3 laps at the hairpin left me in 5th and quite a way back from where I wanted to be. However, in the remaining two thirds of the race I caught and passed @ArcticCareBear, then @nOc75 and then finally, with 3 corners to go, stole 2nd place off @tonyandmargaret which was just ruddy bloody marvellous.

And that was enough to get me 2nd in the overall standings in only 2 races! Even more ruddy bloody marvellouser!

As much as Race 07 has been a brilliant 2 year introduction to PC sim racing, I can't want to ditch it for its younger, hotter, more feature-laden cousin.

MOAR!

And thank you to Bjorn for coming up with, organising, running and scoring the event. Brilliant work with all the liveries and the spotter guide images and all of it. Thank you!!

Have fun.

Race 1
The most difficult car I've ever driven in the club. Rumbly's R390 was a breeze compared to this.

Race 2
I suck at FWD.

Race 3
This car is an absolute joy to drive. Loved it. The push-to-pass added an interesting dynamic, too.

All in all not a bad event, despite me being totally underprepared. SCE worked brilliantly, felt really good to drive and looked great. I didn't experience any of the frame rate issues others did, but hopefully that's not going to be an ongoing issue. The title really exposes my old (and fairly broken) wheel so I'm going to be struggling for a while, but roll on 2016 and more SCE.

As for the event itself, there was way, waaaaaay too much qualifying. 70 minutes of qualifying for 65 minutes of racing made no sense and the event dragged on for far too long. We should not be finishing at nearly 10pm.

Thank you Bjorn for all the organising, hosting and liverying. A very smoothly run first event on a new title.

No it's not, thanks to Bjorn for posting the laptimes and I've improved more than a one second to reach these laptimes :)
I was almost without practice with V8, but they are boring cars, my love goes to Vees :) And I'm quite impressed about GSCE game, it's way better than R07, so I'm looking forward to it..
Thanks for racing and it was fun

Good video, but:
1) Why Sky logo? :) We have a nice Realish logo
2) Crop video to 16:9 ratio
3) what about better video quality?
4) I hardly hear sounds of the cars, put more volume
5) Add simple qual and race result table after each session
6) 7 minutes of black screen at the end :D
Comments and everything else good work :)
