Hmm, take the best car or go with what I’m using in JRC :ugeek:

I’m guessing @BlueSpearman has the same conundrum (we’re both in JRC2), though he’s pretty much got this title wrapped up.

Got two punctures and a severe damage warning within the first two stages. What a disaster.

Looked like I had the pace to challenge for win here, but a few rough bumps in the opening Stages cost me too much time

Oh well, at least I smashed Stage 4 with a 10 second win there 8-)

Full run's here, congrats to @BlueSpearman on the title: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1053162264

Forgot to do this until the last minute and made an complete mess of it. First time I've not been able to fully repair the car at service. Don't like the car, far too grippy. Bring back Group B!

Again, didn't make the time for a lot of practice here, and was assuming that these Group A cars would be fairly straightforward to drive. However, I found it quite a struggle to extract the full pace due to a touch too much understeer from both the Delta and the Impreza I did a couple of test runs with.

Although aware the Delta was the faster car, I ultimately picked the Impreza as I felt I was more consistent and stable for an event where I still needed to get a decent result to keep 2nd in the championship. It's also a car I strongly associate with the beginnings of my interest in rallying. I promptly binned it after making a solid start on the first stage.

Rest of the rally was relatively sedate and straightforward, even getting a 2nd fastest time on S5. So 4th probably the best I could hope for with @lazaros18 getting in the mix.

Congrats to @BlueSpearman on another rally and championship win!

Congratulations @BlueSpearman (that's become a very familiar phrase!) on another win and another rally championship! Simply unbeatable speed and consistency.

After finishing 4th or 5th in five of the six previous rounds, @lazaros18 finally got on the podium, just 8 seconds off the win, ahead of @PJTierney. Further back, @Sam Hill was a whopping 6 seconds behind @carrot1401 and @Goobertson finally scored a point despite a double puncture in the second stage.

  1. @BlueSpearman 28:50.705
  2. @lazaros18 +8.268
  3. @PJTierney +43.113
  4. @supernicebob +1:01.265
  5. @carrot1401 +1:18.271
  6. @Sam Hill +1:24.572
  7. @sin_racing +1:52.491
  8. @WRC000 +3:34.140
  9. @Boovolari +6:26.161
  10. @Goobertson +10:05.493

Updated championship standings are here.

If the top guys didn't pick the Delta, I'd have gone with the Evo.

Delta's the best car though, in fact some leagues ban it.

I regretted taking the Delta, I just pulled a setup from YouTube which made the car even more understeery than it already is.

Will actually have to create my own for New Zealand for a change.

I was going to go with Rally Technical too but I heard he made the stock setup worse

That's the one, they normally aren't too bad but he must have a very different driving style to me because I can't understand why he locks up the diffs on something which already understeers like the Titanic. Unless he just yeets it into every corner on the handbrake and drags races it in between.
