Pit Speed Limit: 80 km/h
Pit Entry: On the right on the front straight.
Pit Exit: Rejoin on the right on the front straight. No blend line but please keep right after you exit the pit lane.

Track Notes
This race will feature a standing start. Be aware of cars around you on the first lap and don't try any banzai moves on the first lap of a 47 lap race. As always, we will not restart the race for an accident - if there's a lap 1 pile up that takes out half the field, so be it. Be aware particularly of the braking zone into turn 5 on the first lap as your brakes and tyres will not be up to temperature.

Two wheels on the track at all times please. The kerbs are often horrible enough to enforce track limits here but there are places where you can still gain an advantage.

Event Notes
This is a long race and there will be retirements (probably). If you're still running at the finish, you'll probably be near the points. Be aware of cars around you on the first lap and don't move across the track unless you're sure there's space to do so.

Due to strategy variations, you may come across cars going significantly faster or slower than you. Please be sensible about it.

These cars are quite fragile and don't take contact well. As such, we will take a harder line on avoidable contact which damages an opponent's car.

PSA: The server settings have been adjusted to allow change of tyre compounds despite parc fermé - however, this is only to allow you to change during the pitstops which wouldn't be possible otherwise (because rF2).
You still have to start on the same compound you qualified on (unless it rains, of course - in that case, everything will unlock).

What a fucking disaster. I was doing okay even when the rain came but I nerfed the wall at the Carousel and broke the front wing. That wouldn't have been a disaster as it was time to move to intermediates but my pit menu had a stroke and deselected everything and I didn't re-select intermediates. I then had a much bigger accident sliding round on the wrong tyres and by the time all that was done I was in 10th and nearly a lap down on everyone. About 8 laps later I crashed at turn 1 then finished the job when the damage speared me right under braking for turn 5. DNF
