Re: RlyR IRL - American Speedfest Brands Hatch 11 June

I actually had tickets to this last year but couldn't go in the end. I'm tempted...the Euro NASCARs were great when we saw them a few years ago.

Some good stuff in there! I always love the cars you see in club events, so much variety and some really obscure stuff. I mean, an Autobianchi A112?! Amazing.

Re: Motorsport Manager

I couldn't get on with it. Everything felt a bit bloated and ponderous, and overly focused on aesthetic over content. Also the way the tutorial assumed the player was a complete and utter imbecile and explained every tiny little thing absolutely did my head in. I made sure to stop before my two hour...

Re: Special Event 54 - Realish Revival (AMS)

That was ace. Love Goodwood, love the cars. They weren't balanced, but so what? It just made the racing more fun for me. The Porsche handled absolutely beautifully and I could pretty much drift with one hand. It was so predictable. Was pretty happy to qualify 5th. Got up to 3rd off the line in race ...

Re: RlyR IRL! - 2017 Le Mans - 17th-18th June

If you've got a car that's roomy enough and seats that recline very horizontally (like my Celica did) I can absolutely recommend sleeping in the car. It was warm, comfortable and quiet, which is very useful when the Dutch Corvette Club next to you start burning literally everything . I'm not sure it...

Those Caddy's sound amazing. It's so weird seeing an LMP2 car which makes a noise like that!

Congratulations! That day spent working alongside someone as professional and experienced as Chad Chumley clearly gave your then already burgeoning CV that extra touch of class that's allowed you to reach these heights. ;) Seriously though, Tom, that's...that's bloody incredible news, and also not i...

Re: Formula One

Huge, huge respect to Nico for this decision. He's won the title, achieved his dream and now wants to enjoy life with his family without the pressure and scrutiny that comes with being an F1 driver. Who's anyone else to say what his ambitions should be? He owes nothing to anyone. Was never really a ...

Re: World Endurance Championship

I think it's as much about the emissions scandal and the effect that's had on VAG than anything else. It doesn't look particularly justifiable for them to be running two expensive racing programmes in the same series, especially when one of them uses diesel technology that was not only the basis for...

Re: Where to Watch Races

It's always on MotorsTV (apart from Le Mans, where Eurosport have an exclusive deal) but it's a shame BT aren't broadcasting it this weekend. MotorsTV quality leaves much to be desired (as usual).

Next year I'm just buying the season package for the app, though. It really is the best way to watch it.
