Tommo N7 is a Spectre, sim racing driver and member of Really Rubbish Racing.

Early Life

Andy 'Tommo' Tomson was born in 1994 and currently resides in Northamptonshire. He is also believed to be of cat origin.

Motorsport Experience

Tommo has Formula 1 memories from the age of 3, when he started watching F1 with his Dad. He then grew into an avid F1 fan, but has never been able to attend a F1 race, but wishes to do so at some point in his life. Living only 20 odd miles from the Silverstone circuit, it provides a great opportunity for him to go one day.

Racing History

Tommo started out playing racing games on the PlayStation 1, playing games such as F1 '97 and Speed Freaks. He then proceeded onto the PS2, and then in 2008, onto the PS3.

PS3 & Xbox

Andy got a PS3 in September 2008, getting Grand Theft Auto IV and GT5 Prologue with it. He was slightly disappointed by Prologue, and a few months later, started playing the demo of Race Driver: GRiD. He thoroughly enjoyed the demo, and got it as a Christmas present in 2008. Tommo was then able to make a PSN account in early January '09 and made his first foray into online racing. A year on, Andy started to become disillusioned with the PS3, and decided to get a Xbox 360, as many of his friends had one, and there were games he wanted on it, such as Forza 3. He was able to get this in March 2010, and thoroughly enjoyed the game, nearly completing it. But interested in the Xbox diminished, and by late summer, the Xbox was gathering dust. In September 2010, F1 2010 came out, a game all F1 fans had been waiting for for years. He got this on the PS3 system, and the Xbox was forgotten.

Twitter GP

It wasn't until August 2011 that Tommo got involved in a racing club, this being the 'Twitter GP'. It was comprised of PS3 members on Twitter, and they raced on F1 2010, competing in all 19 rounds of the official F1 championship. Andy competed in the final 7 races of the 2nd season of the Champ, getting two podiums, and finishing the season in 10th with 74 points. [1] In season 3, he was able to secure a full time drive in the championship, competing in the #2 car alongside the reigning champion. This was when the Virtue Racing name originated from. Tommo was able to claim 7 podiums that season, getting 216 points, and finishing 4th overall. Virtue Racing came 2nd in the constructors. For season 4, Andy was the team leader, and chose the Championship creator as his teammate. This was a successful season, as Tommo got 13 podiums, including his first race win at Valencia. He could have got wins at Japan & Belguim, but both times lost the lead on the final lap of the race. Tommo finished 2nd in the Championship, having a total of 286 points, coming 36 points behind the winner. Virtue Racing also won the constructors title, with 515 points. [2] Tommo competed in Season 5 of the Twitter GP, which was now taking place on the F1 2011 game, driving the #1 Red Bull. He struggled to adapt to the new game, and often found himself involved in incidents. Tommo decided to depart from the series halfway through the season, as he grew tired of constant arguments among the members of the club, not enjoying F1 2011 and to concentrate on racing in RRR. Andy reconsidered rejoining the championship for Season 8, but after realising he wouldn't be able to make half the races, he aborted his comeback.

RRR

Being a member on the excellent F1Fanatic site, he noticed the Really Rubbish Racing club on many occasions. With the release of Forza 4 coming, Tommo decided he wanted to become apart of the club. This means a proper return to the Xbox and the Forza series after a year's absence.

4za Motorsport Championship

Tommo had a mediocre first season of racing, and came 16th overall in the championship, only scoring 1 point driving a Toyota Aygo. His only point scoring race was at the Nurburgring, and Andy found himself finishing in 11th place for the majority of the season. He also missed 1 event, where he may have been able to challenge for points. Tommo also finished 5th in the Rookie Cup.

HGTM

Tommo competed in season 4 for Virtue Racing, alongside Mr Flobadob. In the first race of the season, Andy came only 12th after sustaining damage, and it looked like another poor season was on the cards. But in the feature race, he finished in 6th, marking his best ever result in a championship race. This form was continued into Road America, where Tommo finished 5th and 6th. In the next four races, Andy finished in places 7th-10th, before heading to Sebring and finishing 5th and 6th again, despite a DimensioN Flip. The mid seasonHGTM Nordschleife 90 special event was a lonely race where Tommo finished in 8th. In the third American race of the season, at Indianapolis, Tommo once again finished 5th and 6th. At Mugello, he came across the line in 7th and 8th. Andy lost focus towards the end of the season, and was missing from the grid at Motegi. He returned at Infineon, hoping for decent results like in the other American races, but had a shocker and finished 10th and 12th, equaling his worst result of the season, after contact with Don Mateo. Heading into the final event at Hockenheim, Tommo had lost his 8th place to Dan 7horn and was 2 points behind him. A abysmal sprint race saw Andy get damage after hitting Icthyes, and then finished 13th, after losing 12th on the last corner to Smifaye which cost Virtue Racing 4th in the Teams Standings. In the feature race, Tommo came 10th. A terrible end to the season saw Andy finish 9th, but by the end of the HGTM series he was matching his 4zaMC form which was of much frustration to him.

F1 Asian Series

Andy made a surprise appearance in the F1 category, debuting at Australia. He had an average season, and was able to score a few points, finishing 15th in the series with 16 points, after competing in 4 events.

MEMES

Andy planned to race in Season 5, but after missing the first event, he withdrew from the series a few days before event 2. This was so he could concentrate on his exams. Tommo also didn't have the time or inclination to test, and on the one occasion he did, he was off the pace. Plus, the banning of the racing didn't help his situation.

F1 Summer Series 2012

Tommo makes his return to racing in the Summer Series.

Personal Life

Andy is an avid F1 fan and gamer, and runs a YouTube channel - [TommoTHFC]. He is currently a 6th Form Student. He also has a preference for the number 39, for a unknown reason. He has this number on his first Tottenham shirt, and on his old PSN 'spursfan39' and will uses this number in Really Rubbish Racing. His favourite game series is Mass Effect which is where the 'N7' comes from. [3]
